Job summary

New Zealand Couriers is seeking a proactive Credit Controller for a 12-month fixed term role based at the Hamilton Branch. You will manage the debtor ledger, follow up payments and work with branches and internal teams to resolve queries and ensure payment terms are met.

Ideal candidates will have credit control or accounts receivable experience, strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment within the Freightways Group.

• Experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain customer accounts and the debtor ledger.
• Follow up outstanding accounts and payments.
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Resolve customer account and billing queries.
• Review reports and identify accounts needing action.
• Liaise with customers, branches and internal departments.
