Job summary

OJI Fibre Solutions in Mangere Bridge, Auckland, is seeking a Credit Control and Finance Administrator to manage debt collection, credit limits and payroll support within our finance team. You will build strong relationships with sales, customers, banks and solicitors, chase payments, review credit and master data in SAP, and contribute to month-end tasks and general finance duties.

Qualifications

• Credit control experience (min 5 years) and accounting background.
• Manufacturing sector experience is advantageous.
• SAP experience and advanced Excel skills are beneficial.
• Tertiary qualification in business studies or related discipline is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including sales teams, customers, banks, collection agencies and solicitors.
• Proactively establish payment expectations and follow up on overdue payments.
• Collection of customer debts in a timely manner and within company standards.
• Identify reasons for non-payment and coordinate with Account Managers on payment plans and potential legal actions.
• Assist onboarding of new customers, set initial credit limits and review credit limits with Sales/Account Managers.
• Ensure credit-related master data in SAP is accurate and up-to-date.
• Support month-end tasks and other finance duties; provide payroll cover two days per week.
• Provide leave cover for site Finance and Office Administrators and travel to other sites if required.
• Support Health & Safety initiatives.
