Job summary

Lanzhou Beef Noodle Ltd is seeking two cooks to join the kitchen team in Auckland. This full-time role guarantees 30 hours per week but typically requires around 40 hours, with weekend work possible during peak periods.

You will prepare and cook Chinese dishes, ensuring high quality and hygiene compliance in a busy environment. Ideal candidates have at least two years of Chinese cuisine experience or a relevant certificate, a can-do attitude, and strong attention to detail to maintain

Qualifications

• At least two years of work experience in cooking Chinese Cuisine is needed.
• A relevant certificate can replace the required work experience.
• Have a can-do attitude and be able to work under pressure since our restaurant is extremely busy during peak hours.
• You may be required to work during the weekend.
• You should also have good attention to detail to make sure everything that goes through your hand is thoroughly clean.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking all the dishes offered by the restaurant.
• Seasoning food during preparation and cooking, when necessary.
• Monitoring the quality of food at all stages of preparation, cooking and presentation.
• Assisting in improving dishes.
• Assisting in managing the overall operation of kitchen.
• Assisting in ordering supplies and stocks.
• Ensuring kitchen’s operation complies with hygiene and safety regulations.

Lanzhou Beef Noodle Ltd is located at Mt Eden, Auckland. We provide top-class Lanzhou noodles and other dishes. We now need two Cooks to help us provide top-quality food and service.
