STEPS is recruiting for a Southland contractor preparing to deliver Southland District Council's Three Waters services contracts, starting 1 July 2027. We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to take overall responsibility for delivery.

You will lead the contract team, manage the relationship with Council, and own performance, budget and compliance across a 3-year term with 2 years' extension.

You will bring at least 10 years' experience in water or wastewater services, including two comparable operations and maintenance contracts, and the commercial judgement to run them well. Southland-based or ready to relocate.

This role is conditional on contract award and is offered in line with a tender submission closing 19 November 2026. Candidates may be named in the bid. Competitive package.
