Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Contracts Manager for our Water team in New Zealand to lead procurement and construction oversight on water, wastewater and stormwater projects. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, risk and contract administration while collaborating with clients, contractors and regulatory authorities to deliver successful outcomes.

The role requires a technical qualification and at least five years of nzf contracts experience, with strong cost estimating, tendering and reporting

Qualifications

• Relevant technical tertiary qualification.
• 5 years' relevant professional experience including NZS39XX contracts.
• Solid cost estimating, tender preparation and report writing skills.
• Clear and consistent communication to build trust and provide support to peers and clients.
• Coordination/management of sub-contractors, site supervisors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the delivery of water, wastewater and stormwater projects, including management of scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk.
• Undertake site inspections, field investigations, feasibility assessments and constructability reviews to support project delivery.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including cost estimates, tender documentation, contract administration records and project reports.
• Assist with tender evaluations and provide support during procurement and construction phases.
• Monitor project financial performance, including tracking, forecasting and reporting of construction activities.
