Job summary

Booth's Logistics in Christchurch is seeking a motivated Administrator to join our Containers team. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed term role starting in October 2026, responsible for bookings management, compliance, driver scheduling and responding to customer queries.

Experience in Containers or Logistics and Warehousing would be an advantage. You will handle general administration, data entry, paperwork, and liaising with customers and branches to keep freight movements and inventory on

Qualifications

• Previous administration experience (containers, logistics/warehouse advantageous).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
• Good numerical ability and accuracy with freight counts.
• Honest, reliable and self-motivated with clear communication.
• A positive, can-do attitude and team-first mindset.
• Strong commitment to health & safety.

Responsibilities

• General administration and accurate data entry.
• Adhering to regulatory compliance requirements.
• Processing paperwork, PODs, and customer documentation.
• Responding to emails and phone enquiries promptly.
• Supporting operations to keep track of Containers, freight movements and inventory.
• Supporting the Container Manager and Drivers with day-to-day operations.
• Liaising with customers, other branches, and the wider business.
• Checking consignments for damage and correct quantities.
• Supporting Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Regulatory Compliance.
