Job summary

Booth's Logistics in Auckland is seeking a capable Transport Planner (Containers) to join the team. You will support efficient management of Container Freight by leveraging your transport/logistics knowledge and ICOS/TMS experience. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication are essential.

Applicants should have NZ geographical knowledge, and a collaborative, customer-focused approach. A pre-employment medical and drug test will be required along with standard checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport/logistics or similar role.
• Familiarity with ICOS or other TMS systems.
• Strong numerical and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily networking/planning with Drivers, Management, Staff in other Branches and Customers.
• Create manifests for outbound units and email to receiving branches.
• Send delay notifications of units or freight to receiving branches and CS.

The Role

We currently on the lookout for a highly competentTransport Planner (Containers) with proven skills and experience to join theteam in our Auckland Branch.

Using your extensive knowledge of the transport/logisticsindustry, you will support our team to ensure efficient management of ourContainer Freight.

• Experience in a similarrole and/or knowledge of the transport and logistics industry.
• Experience in using ICOSand/or other TMS systems.
• A keen willingness tolearn and ability to absorb information.
• Excellent geographicalknowledge and understanding of New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:
