Job summary

Booth’s Logistics is seeking a skilled Transport Planner (Containers) for our Tauranga branch. You will support daily planning with drivers and branches to ensure efficient container freight management.

The role requires NZ knowledge, strong numeracy and customer focus, and proficiency with ICOS/TMS systems. A pre-employment medical and drug test plus ACC/MOJ checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role in transport/logistics.
• Knowledge of transport/logistics industry.
• Ability to learn quickly and absorb information.
• Excellent NZ geographical knowledge.
• Customer-focused approach in all interactions.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong numeracy and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Daily networking and planning with Drivers, Management, staff in other branches and customers.
• Complete and adhere to agreed company processes.
• Create manifests for all outbound units and email to receiving branch.
• Send delay notifications of units or freight to receiving branches and to CS.

The Role

We currently on the lookout for a highly competent TransportPlanner (Containers) with proven skills and experience to join the team in our Tauranga Branch.

Using your extensive knowledge of the transport/logisticsindustry, you will support our team to ensure efficient management of ourContainer Freight.
