Job summary

Pegasus Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Rolleston-based team on a full-time basis. You will oversee planning, execution, and handover of construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to high quality standards.

Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, site supervision, risk management, and stakeholder communications, with a focus on safety and environmental compliance across all activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies and contract management.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule construction projects with detailed timelines and resources.
• Manage budgets and financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate on-site activities with subcontractors, suppliers and workforce.
• Monitor progress against milestones and take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance across projects.
• Maintain regular client and stakeholder communications with progress updates.
• Oversee project documentation including contracts and drawings.
• Identify and manage project risks and mitigation strategies.
• Conduct quality inspections to meet contractual specs and standards.
