Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver engineering, construction, fabrication, or industrial projects.
• 5+ years' project management experience in a relevant industry.
• Profit-focused delivery with strong safety record.
• Commercial acumen and contract management experience.
• Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate project teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Legal entitlement to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Leading multidisciplinary engineering, fabrication, and construction projects from initiation through to completion.
• Developing and managing project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Monitoring project performance, including cost control, forecasting, risk management, and reporting.
• Coordinating project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Managing contractual obligations, variations, and commercial performance.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with quality expectations.
• Providing regular project updates and performance reports to senior leadership.
• Mentoring and supporting engineers and project team members.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships while identifying future business opportunities.
• Promoting excellence in health, safety, environmental, and quality outcomes across all project activities.
