Healthvision is a family-owned provider of in-home health services across Aotearoa, focused on compassionate care and independence. We are seeking dedicated support workers to assist people with health-related needs in the Bay of Plenty region.

This role offers permanent part-time and full-time opportunities with a rotating roster. You will work 8am–5pm across Monday to Sunday, with training provided to support residents in living their best lives in the community.

• Assist with personal cares (showering, bathing).

• Move and handle hoists and transfer clients.
• Provide medication support.

Job Location: Bay of Plenty - Whakatane

We offer a range of employment opportunities including part-time, and full-time positions, which will be discussed further during the recruitment process.

Days of work: Monday to Sunday 8am till 5pm. The duration of these hours may vary, ranging from shorter to longer periods, depending on the specific needs of the people we support.

You are a calm but confident-natured individual who can demonstrate resilience and understand the challenges of our service users. There are many responsibilities associated with being a support worker which can be challenging and fulfilling. It is rewarding when you are part of the support that enables a person to live their best lives in the community.

Candidate Pre-Requisites:

• Availability to work Monday to Sunday 8am to 5pm
• Previous experience in healthcare would be an added advantage and those looking to enter the healthcare sector will also be considered (comprehensive training can be provided).
• Access to your own car and ability to drive Independently (a Full New Zealand Driver's License is a must)
• Flexibility to travel
• Flexibility to work on a rotating roster
• Legal right to work in New Zealand is a must.
