Job summary

Equans NZ Limited is looking for a Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our busy Auckland branch supporting our customers across the region. You will perform refrigeration, HVAC and electrical work with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications include relevant trade qualifications and an EST Licence, plus experience in commercial/industrial refrigeration. An on-call roster and overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications and EST Licence are required.
• Experience in commercial/industrial refrigeration and HVAC is essential.
• Knowledge of building management systems is advantageous.
• NZ driver licence or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose technical issues and prioritise workload to meet customer service levels and deliver outcomes.
• Ensure customer concerns are managed efficiently and provide resolution.
• Identify potential sales opportunities for repairs, replacements and upgrades.
• Work autonomously and in a team with a strong safety focus.
• Comply with company policies and participate in on-call roster.

You will need to have a strong focus on providing top level customer service, working safely, have a solid understanding of relevant industry codes and standards enabling you to perform technical Refrigeration, HVAC and electrical work. Experience working within the supermarket sector would be an advantage.
