Qualifications

• Full New Zealand driver licence and willingness to travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of Emerald Inn Takapuna and Newmarket Central in consultation with the Managers.
• Ensure consistent implementation of operational standards, policies and procedures across both properties.
• Provide relief management coverage during managers' rostered days off and leave periods.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Recruit, onboard, train, coach and develop team members in the housekeeping team.
• Conduct performance reviews and manage performance, attendance and disciplinary matters.
• Coordinate rosters and staffing levels in line with occupancy and operational requirements.
• Lead housekeeping operations across both properties and conduct regular room, public area and quality inspections.
• Monitor guest feedback, online reviews and satisfaction metrics and resolve guest complaints and service issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements and incident reporting procedures.

The Cluster Operations Supervisor is responsible for supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of Emerald Inn Takapuna and Newmarket Central Hotel. The role leads housekeeping operations, supports front office and guest service functions, coordinates staffing and operational standards, and provides relief management coverage as required. The position plays a key role in ensuring a consistent guest experience, strong team performance, and high property presentation standards across both locations.

Key responsibilities

• This role is based on a 10 days on and 4 days off roster system
• Lead the day-to-day operation of Emerald Inn Takapuna and Newmarket Central in consultation with the Managers.
