Job summary
ACC Wellington seeks a Cloud Engineer to deliver and support the technologies enabling thousands of staff to serve New Zealanders. You will contribute to platform engineering, automation, and operations across Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows 11, Azure Virtual Desktop, Exchange Online, Entra ID and Azure infrastructure.
The appointing salary ranges from $138,573 to $166,288 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package including a 9% superannuation scheme and flexible working
Qualifications
- Five years of enterprise-level experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows 11 and Exchange Online.
- Strong experience with Intune, Endpoint Manager, Azure Virtual Desktop, Zscaler, Entra ID and cloud infra services.
- Automation expertise using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Azure Automation, Terraform, Azure CLI.
- Experience with endpoint security: CA, MFA, Defender, Information Protection, DLP.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills; able to resolve complex issues.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management across technical and business audiences.

- Deliver platform engineering, automation and operational support for Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
- Support and improve end-user modern workplace technologies and security controls.
- Collaborate in a high-performing, Agile delivery team to drive continuous improvement.
