Job summary

ACC Wellington seeks a Cloud Engineer to deliver and support the technologies enabling thousands of staff to serve New Zealanders. You will contribute to platform engineering, automation, and operations across Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows 11, Azure Virtual Desktop, Exchange Online, Entra ID and Azure infrastructure.

The appointing salary ranges from $138,573 to $166,288 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package including a 9% superannuation scheme and flexible working

Qualifications

• Five years of enterprise-level experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows 11 and Exchange Online.
• Strong experience with Intune, Endpoint Manager, Azure Virtual Desktop, Zscaler, Entra ID and cloud infra services.
• Automation expertise using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Azure Automation, Terraform, Azure CLI.
• Experience with endpoint security: CA, MFA, Defender, Information Protection, DLP.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills; able to resolve complex issues.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across technical and business audiences.

About the role

Mō te tūranga mahi As a Cloud Engineer at ACC, you will help deliver and support the technologies that enable thousands of ACC people to serve New Zealanders every day. Working within a high-performing continuous delivery team, you will be responsible for platform engineering, automation, operational support and continuous improvement across Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows 11, Azure Virtual Desktop, Exchange Online, Entra ID, Zscaler and supporting Azure infrastructure. You'll contribute to a secure, reliable and modern digital workplace while helping ACC keep Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between.

The appointing salary for this role is $138,573 to $166,288 based on experience.

About you

Mōu You will bring:

• At least five years' enterprise-level experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows 11 and Exchange Online platforms.
• Strong experience with Intune, Endpoint Manager, Azure Virtual Desktop, Zscaler, Entra ID and cloud infrastructure services.
• Demonstrated expertise in automation using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Azure Automation, Terraform, Azure CLI and related technologies.
• Experience supporting endpoint security, Conditional Access, MFA, Defender, Information Protection and Data Loss Prevention capabilities.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences.
• A collaborative, customer-focused approach and a passion for continuous improvement, innovation and learning.
• Experience working within Agile environments and contributing to high-performing delivery teams.
