Job summary

Apex Car Rentals in Queenstown is hiring Vehicle Service Agents to keep our fleet in top condition. This entry-level role includes full training and a 40-hour work week, with shifts across mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.

You will prepare vehicles by cleaning the interior and exterior, check for damages, and record fuel and mileage. Uniform and parking are provided, along with a wellbeing programme and staff discounts.

• Capable of recording fuel and mileage accurately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare interiors and exteriors by cleaning, washing and vacuuming returned vehicles.
• Check vehicles for potential damages and report findings per procedure.
• Review gas levels and odometer readings and input into handheld devices.
• Refuel, check fluids, tyres and tread depth.

About The Role

As what we call a Vehicle Service Agent you will be a key component to our operations. You will be responsible for checking and preparing our vehicles to ensure they are in the best condition possible for our customers.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Preparing the interior and exterior of our vehicles by cleaning, washing, and vacuuming all returned vehicles
• Assessing vehicle for any potential new damages and report it as per our vehicle damage procedure.
• Reviewing returned vehicle gas levels and car kilometres and accurately inputting them into our hand-held devices as required
• Refuelling tanks, checking fluid levels and tyre conditions along with pressure and tread depth

As we operate 7 days a week from 8 am to 6:30 pm you will be required to work 40 hours per week during our operating hours which may include early mornings, evenings, full weekends and public holidays as required.
