Job summary

Apex Car Rentals in Queenstown, Otago, New Zealand is hiring a Vehicle Service Agent to help keep our fleet in top condition. The role involves cleaning interiors and exteriors, inspecting for damages, and recording mileage and fuel levels using hand-held devices.

You will work 40 hours per week within our 8:00–18:30 schedule, including weekends and holidays, with full training provided. We offer uniform and parking, wellbeing programs, and employee discounts on car rental and partner brands.

Qualifications

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential for this role.
• Previous experience in a hands-on or physical labouring role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in all weather conditions delivering a high standard of work.
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the interior and exterior of vehicles by cleaning, washing, and vacuuming returned vehicles.
• Assess vehicles for potential new damages and report per damage procedure.
• Record gas levels and odometer readings on hand-held devices.
• Refuel tanks, check fluid levels, tyres and tread depth.
