Job summary

Millennium Services Group in Christchurch is seeking reliable and motivated Cleaners to join our Hornby team. If you take pride in creating clean and safe environments, and thrive in a fast-paced setting, we'd love to hear from you.

We have part-time weekend shifts with Saturday-Sunday 6:00PM to 9:00PM and an hourly rate of $24.25. Applicants must have valid working rights in New Zealand and a strong commitment to health and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience (commercial cleaning experience is highly regarded).
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• A reliable, punctual and positive work ethic.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Experience using floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers or sweepers is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties to a high standard.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors.
• Clean amenities, including toilets and washrooms.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish.
• Spot clean furniture and high-touch surfaces.
• Clean internal and external glass as required.
• Dust and wipe down hard surfaces.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for clients and visitors.
