Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking enthusiastic and reliable cleaners for part-time shifts in Spreydon, Christchurch. The role involves early morning cleaning across interior and exterior spaces, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness for client sites.

The ideal candidate has prior cleaning experience, strong attention to detail, and good English communication. You must have valid work rights in New Zealand and be able to work flexible hours, including public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning to a high standard.
• Morning cleaning of car park areas.
• Collect and remove litter from exterior grounds and common areas.
• Empty and maintain rubbish to keep spaces presentable.
• Spot clean furnishings and wipe surfaces.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Toilet cleaning and glass cleaning (internal/external).
• Dust all hard surfaces.

Millennium have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and reliable cleaners to become part of our team at Spreydon, Christchurch!

This role is ideal for individuals who love working in a fast-paced environment, have great attention to detail, and enjoy creating clean and welcoming spaces for our clients and customers.

We have Part time position available, with shifts as follows:

Monday-Friday: 6:00 AM- 9:00 AM

Hourly rate: $24.25

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties to a high standard
• Perform early morning cleaning of car park areas.
• Collect and remove litter from external grounds and common areas.
• Empty and maintain rubbish bins to ensure a clean and presentable environment.
• Spot cleaning of furnishings
• Sweeping and mopping
• Toilet cleaning.
• Cleaning of glass, both internal and external
• Dusting of all hard surfaces

About You:

• Demonstrated cleaning experience, in a commercial environment would be an advantage.
• Proven experience of working in a team successfully.
• The ability to follow instructions and work autonomously.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Can demonstrate strong reliability and punctuality while at work.
• Good understanding of Work Health and Safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays when required.
• Experience with floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is a plus.
• You must be 18+ due to Company H&S policies.
• All communications including training and health & safety instructions are in English only. You must have good English speaking and comprehension skills.
• You must have valid work rights in New Zealand.
