Job summary

Team Global Express NZ Dunedin is seeking a Class 5 Driver to join our Dunedin branch. You will assist with collections and deliveries for key customers, maintaining safety and on-time delivery.

Applicants must have a clean NZ Class 5 license with F and D endorsements preferred; forklift OSH certification is a plus. This on-site role offers regular Monday–Friday shifts and safety-focused operation within a multinational transport business.

Qualifications

• NZ Class 5 License required; F and D Endorsements preferred.
• Forklift license with OSH certification is a plus.
• Customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills.
• Teamwork and experience driving on New Zealand roads.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely by hand.
• Deliver and pickup on time and in full.
• Scan freight and ensure accuracy in handling.
• Maintain safety and comply with processes and procedures.
• Keep vehicle clean and presentable inside and out.
• Actively participate in safety practices and policies.
• Operate vehicle safely and legally at all times.

Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

We're on the hunt for a Class 5 Driver to join our Dunedin branch to assist with collections and deliveries with one of our key customers.

Shift:

Monday – Friday, 6am start, approx. 40-50 hours per week

About The Role - Mō Te Tūranga

This role will be responsible to assist with the timely safe handling of freight for the company to achieve their target delivery goals. Holding your Class 5 license with F and D&G is crucial to being able to fulfil this role successfully.

What You'll Do

• Load and unload freight safely by hand.
• Ensure freight is handled without damage.
• Scan all freight. If you touch it, scan it.
• Deliver and pickup on time and in full.
• Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures
• Always operate your vehicle in a safe and legal manner.
• Take pride in your vehicle by always keeping it clean and tidy - inside and out.
