Job summary

Persol is seeking a Class 2 Driver in Taupo to safely transport gas bottles to customer sites and perform stock checks. The role requires independence, reliability, and the ability to operate tanker and bottle trucks.

Applicants should have a clean Class 2 NZ licence, be able to drive manual vehicles, and be physically fit for the job. Training for forklift or DG endorsement is available if needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 NZ Driver's Licence with clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Minimum 2 years' experience driving Class 1 or higher vehicles in New Zealand.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role.
• Reliable transport and punctuality.
• Forklift license and Dangerous Goods endorsement are advantageous (training provided).

40 hours a week

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport gas bottles to customer sites.
• Complete stock takes and compliance checks accurately.
• Provide friendly and professional service to customers.
• Operate tanker and bottle trucks as required.

Skills And Experience

• Current Class 2 NZ Driver's License with a clean record.
• Be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle
• Minimum 2 years' experience driving Class 1 or higher vehicles in New Zealand.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role.
• Reliable transport and punctuality.
• Forklift license and Dangerous Goods endorsement are an advantage (training can be provided).
