Job summary

Programmed is seeking an experienced LPG Class 2 Driver for a role in Whangārei. You will deliver gas bottles to customer sites, interact with customers, and perform stock checks while abiding by safety protocols. The position offers training and development opportunities and a supportive, safety-focused team environment.

The role is full-time (40 hours) with potential for ongoing work and competitive pay. A forklift license and DG endorsement are advantageous and may be supported by the company.

Qualifications

• Clean MOJ is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ Class 2 driving experience in NZ.
• Physically capable of a demanding role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver gas bottles to customer sites.

• Conduct stock takes and compliance checks.

We are currently seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join their tight-knit team in Whangarei.

About the Role:

• Delivering gas bottles to customer sites
• Interacting with customers
• Conducting stock takes and compliance checks
• Load and unload gas bottles, always ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

You Will Need:

• Clean MOJ
• A clean Class 2 driver's license
• At least 2 years' experience driving a Class 2 or higher vehicle in New Zealand
• Physical fitness (the role is physically demanding)
• A strong work ethic, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A willingness to learn and follow instructions
• A forklift license and Dangerous Goods endorsement (these are advantageous, but the company will assist you in obtaining them if you don't already have them)
• A health and safety focus due to exposure to hazardous chemicals
• Reliable transport to and from work
