Job summary

Savills is seeking a proactive Facilities Manager to join the Centre Management team at North City Shopping Centre, Porirua. You will oversee daily facilities operations, drive service excellence for customers and retailers, and collaborate with the Centre Manager to deliver outstanding results.

With a focus on continuous improvement, you will manage maintenance tasks, ensure regulatory compliance, and prepare essential reports while supporting a high-performing, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a similar facilities management role.
• Relevant statutory licences and certifications.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer and tenant service.
• Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all property operations and maintenance activities.
• Undertake hands-on, non-trade maintenance and operational tasks as required.
• Monitor electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and fire services systems and equipment.
• Liaise with tenants and service contractors to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations and processes.
• Enhance management and operational performance of the property.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation per client and organisational procedures.
