Job summary

Savills Australia & New Zealand is seeking a Property & Facilities Manager in Christchurch to lead day-to-day management and performance of our commercial property portfolio. You’ll blend property administration, facilities management, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement to keep assets compliant, well maintained and operating efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property or facilities management.
• Experience across Lease administration, preparing budgets, facilities management and compliance.
• Strong tenant and stakeholder focus with commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solving and decision making.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Energetic, motivated and driven with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Managing lease renewals, extensions, rent reviews, and variations.
• Liaising with landlords, tenants, and solicitors to ensure lease compliance.
• Preparing and reconciling annual OPEX budgets.
• Processing contractor invoices and monitoring expenditure against budget.
• Overseeing day-to-day building maintenance and repairs.
• Managing contractors, service agreements, and SLA performance.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Building legislation.
• Arrears monitoring and management.
• Monitoring and reporting property risks, incidents, and compliance requirements.
