Job summary

Scentre Group is seeking a Centre Manager in Auckland to lead the team and deliver the day-to-day success of a major retail asset. You will unite retailers, partners and the local community to create a destination where customers visit more often and stay longer.

Reporting to the National Manager, Customer Experience NZ, you will guide a high-performing Centre Leadership Team and drive customer, commercial and operational outcomes while modelling a customer-centric culture.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in retail, property, hospitality or similar customer-focused setting.
• Proven ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams and develop future leaders.
• Ability to connect customer and commercial insights with local market context.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Centre Leadership Team to drive engagement and succession.
• Foster a customer-centric culture using insights, NPS and advocacy to shape priorities.
• Oversee centre performance including P&L, budgeting and capital planning.
• Build relationships with community, government and stakeholders to strengthen market position.
• Influence product strategy using customer and market insights for growth opportunities.
• Own the destination experience with high standards of presentation, operations, safety and CX.
• Lead risk, safety, compliance and incident management across the centre.
