Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking an Asphalt Paving Manager to lead the delivery of our asphalt programme across Central Otago. You will oversee paving, milling and hand-lay operations, coordinating site crews, plant and subcontractors, ensuring work is safe, on time and within budget.

This hands-on leadership role requires you to drive planning and delivery, build strong teams, and prioritise safety and quality while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant experience in paving or civil construction.
• Experience leading teams with practical leadership.
• Strong commercial and operational nous for risk, planning and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of paving works across the department.
• Manage pricing, tenders, quotes, estimates, programmes, and change control with subcontractors.
• Plan ahead and coordinate people, plant, materials, survey, and subcontractor resources to keep work moving.
• Build strong relationships with customers, crews, and stakeholders with clear leadership.
• Champion safety, quality, productivity, and commercial performance.
