Job summary
Citycare Water in New Plymouth is seeking an experienced CCTV Operator to join our team. You will carry out CCTV surveys and investigations using tractor and push cameras, supporting fault-finding and problem-solving across drainage networks.
You will prepare, edit, and revise drainage inspection plans, accurately interpret wastewater and stormwater plans, and assist with clearing blockages. On-call roster experience and a strong safety mindset are essential.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in CCTV activities and asset investigation.
- Understanding of NZ Pipe Inspection Manual.
- Experience using tractor and push cameras for surveying.
- Full Class 1 licence with manual transmission.
- Willing to participate in on-call and standby roster.
- Physically fit and health and safety focused.
- Ability to work in a team or independently.
Responsibilities
- Carry out CCTV video surveys and investigations using tractor and push cameras.
- Use CCTV to support fault-finding and problem solving.
- Prepare, edit, and revise drainage inspection plans and maps.
- Accurately interpret wastewater and stormwater plans.
- Assist with clearing blockages across networks.
