Job summary

Citycare Water is seeking a Water Technician to operate and maintain small water and wastewater treatment plants across Auckland. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for ensuring effective water services and will respond to reactive callouts.

The ideal candidate should have experience in civil water and drainage, strong communication skills, and physical fitness. Benefits include health insurance discounts and support through our Women in Water network.

Qualifications

• Experience in the civil water and drainage industry in New Zealand, preferably with treatment plant experience.
• Excellent English communication skills and a quick learning ability.
• A well-organised planner of works.
• Physical fitness, health and safety focus, and the ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
• A full class 1 licence and the ability to drive a manual vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain small water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Respond to reactive callouts.
