Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, Wairarapa Hospital in Masterton, is seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Technologist (MIT) / Radiographer for casual shifts in the Imaging department offering CT, general radiography and on-call coverage. The role covers general radiology, CT and fluoroscopy, with work in HDU, theatre and emergency areas.

Eligibility includes NZ citizenship or resident/permanent visa; CT experience preferred or willingness to train; able to work independently and in a team;

Qualifications

• Registered or eligible for registration by the Medical Radiation Technologists Board.
• Experience in CT preferable; willingness to train in CT.
• Must be able to work alone, with others and under pressure.
• Enjoy working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Work in general radiology, CT and fluoroscopy.
• Perform examinations in HDU, theatre, emergency and general wards.
