Job summary

Summerset Retirement Villages in Trentham Village is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to deliver personal care and support residents in daily life. This role focuses on meals, hygiene, mobility and activities, within a supportive team.

You will work a roster of 2 nights on, 4 days off (32–48 hrs per fortnight), building relationships and helping residents enjoy a safe, healthy lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or similar role.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to night shifts.
• Ability to work a roster pattern of 2 days on, 4 days off.

Responsibilities

• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering.

Job Description

As a Caregiver at our Trentham Village you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.

Typical Duties Include

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities

Shift/Hours

The shift/hours for this role are: 2 days on, 4 days off night shifts (32 - 48hrs per fortnight).

You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people’s lives.
