Job summary

Summerset is seeking a caregiver for our Boulcott Village to deliver resident-directed care in a secure, specialised dementia care setting. You will be part of a team focused on safety, quality of life, and compassionate support tailored to each resident's preferences and needs.

The role is fixed-term with a 3-on, 3-off roster and shifts from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, until 2 May 2027. Prior aged care or dementia experience and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or a similar role.
• Experience with dementia care.
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Ability to work a roster pattern of 3days on and 3days off.

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes.
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering.
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises.
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc.

As a Caregiver at our Boulcott Villageyou will work as part of a team to deliver high-quality, resident-directed care for people living with dementia. • Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

This is a fixed-term, part-time position until2 May 2027, working a 3-on, 3-off roster with shifts from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.

You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people's lives.
