Job summary

Wellington City Council is seeking a Capability Systems Advisor to help improve how we use technology, maintain our learning and capability systems, and support kaimahi to learn, develop and work effectively. You’ll explore AI and emerging tech, keep systems in good shape, troubleshoot issues, support reporting and dashboards, and create engaging digital learning, all while providing great user support.

• Explore AI and emerging technology: help our people use Microsoft 365, Copilot and other digital tools confidently.
• Keep our systems in good shape: support learning, performance, development and engagement platforms and ensure information is accurate.
• Solve problems and improve processes: troubleshoot routine issues and test system changes.
• Make data work harder: support reporting and dashboards to turn information into insights.
• Create engaging digital learning: contribute to online content and guidance.
• Make it easy for people to get support: respond to queries and maintain user guides.
