Job summary

The University of Auckland stores coordinator role sits within the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences Central Stores at the Grafton Campus. You will oversee procurement, inventory, and inwards goods with a strong customer-service focus and excellent stakeholder relations.

This full-time, on-site position runs 7:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday. A forklift licence, current first aid qualification, and prior stores/stock-control experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores and stock control role.
• Current forklift licence.
• First aid qualification.
• Clear communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong relationship-building abilities.
• Experience with inward/outward goods handling.

Responsibilities

• Inventory maintenance of all goods in the store/stockroom, including consumables and chemicals.
• Receiving inward goods, notifying recipients, and facilitating distribution to recipients.
• Manage the ongoing operational and management requirements for the assigned facility.
• Understand and comply with containment requirements for stock held within the Central Stores Facility.
• Ensure safe storage, documented records, and compliance with health and safety procedures.
