Job summary

Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) invites applications for a campus Information & Admissions role on the Nelson Campus. The position is 37.5 hours per week across 5 days, focusing on delivering excellent customer support to learners, staff and stakeholders at arrival.

You will work with other service teams to provide administrative, event and facilities support, ensuring timely, accurate information and professional service in a diverse, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years secondary schooling with 5+ years related experience, or NCEA Level 2 with 4+ years, or NCEA Level 3 with 3+ years.
• Proficient in MS Office and databases; strong customer support experience.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support as the primary contact for learners, staff and stakeholders on arrival to our campuses.
• Support events, administration and facilities in collaboration with other service teams.
• Ensure information is timely, accurate and professional to guide and navigate.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise judgement in handling information.
