Job summary

Columbus Café Mitre 10 MEGA Mt Wellington in Auckland is seeking an experienced Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a permanent full-time role with a minimum of 37.5 paid hours per week, in a café environment that can shift from quiet to busy quickly.

You will stay organised, adaptable and composed during service while delivering high-quality food and service. You will work to maintain cleanliness, safety and stock control, while contributing to a positive team culture and an excellent

• Previous commercial kitchen experience in a chef or cook role.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Reliability, initiative and a positive attitude.

• Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements.

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Chef to join our kitchen team at Columbus Café, Mitre 10 MEGA Mt Wellington . This is a permanent full-time position with a minimum of 37.5 paid hours per week . Our café can shift from quiet to busy within minutes, so we're looking for someone who can stay organised, adaptable and composed during busy service periods while consistently delivering high-quality food and service.
