Mitre 10 MEGA Mt Wellington in Auckland is seeking an energetic Café Manager to lead our in-store cafe, delivering a warm, service‑driven experience for customers and coordinating a small team.

You will oversee cafe operations, manage staff, plan shifts, and work with store marketing and franchise systems to uphold high standards and drive sales.

Qualifications

• Hospitality/retail experience preferred.
• Experience running a café and managing a small team.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cafe operations at Mitre 10 MEGA Mt Wellington, Auckland.
• Manage, schedule and develop a small cafe team with delegation and prioritisation.
• Deliver a positive in-store experience and maintain high standards.
• Coordinate with store marketing and franchise systems where applicable.

We are currently looking for an energetic and experienced Café Manager to join our Columbus Café team at Mitre 10 MEGA Mt Wellington in Auckland. This is a permanent full-time position (minimum 37.5 paid hours per week)

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills,knowledge, and experience:

• Experienced in a similar role in the hospitality, retail or related industry.
• Have management experienced in running a café andworking with a small team.
• Strong knowledge around Marketing and Franchise systems would be advantageous
• Great time management and leadership skills with an abilityto delegate and priorities.
• Proven customer service skills, offering our customersa positive and unique in-store experience.
• Demonstrates initiative, self-motivated andself-managing.
