Job summary

James Wattie Retirement Village in Havelock North is seeking a friendly, experienced Baker with some Café Assistant duties. This is a Full Time role working Sunday to Thursday, 06:00am – 14:00pm, with weekend hours attracting an additional $2.50 per hour.

You will bake and cook a wide cabinet food selection for residents and visitors, provide cafe service, manage the till and stock, and uphold food safety standards while helping create a welcoming, caring village atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience in baking and cookery.
• Ability to work independently to the highest standards.
• Strong empathy.
• A reliable, friendly and professional manner.
• Barista experience is an added bonus!

Responsibilities

About the Role
