Job summary

Ryman Healthcare is seeking a friendly Barista at Richard Hadlee Retirement Village in Belfast, Christchurch. This part-time role runs Monday to Wednesday 09:00–15:30, with an additional weekend pay rate of $2.50 per hour for weekend hours.

You will provide coffee and beverage service to residents, relatives and visitors, promote a caring atmosphere, and maintain cafe cleanliness and organisation while supporting your colleagues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista in a busy cafe environment.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills with the ability to multitask with coffee making, serving customers and food service.
• Strong empathy with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• A reliable, friendly and professional manner with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at Richard Hadlee Retirement Village in Belfast, Christchurch as a Barista. This is a Part Time position wokring Monday to Wednesday 0900-1530.

In this role you will:

• Provide an excellent food and beverage service in the café for residents, relatives and visitors- Experience making coffee essential
