Job summary

Ryman Healthcare in Hamilton is seeking a friendly Baker with cafe duties to delight residents and guests. This part-time role covers Friday and Saturday shifts (05:30–14:00) at Linda Jones Retirement Village.

You will bake cabinet foods, provide cafe service, handle the till and stock, and follow food-safety standards. Weekend penalties add $2.50 per hour.

Applicants should have baking experience, a barista qualification, reliability, and strong empathy; NZ work rights required.

About the Role

We have an exciting new position as a Baker with some Cafe Assistant duties involved as well at Linda Jones Retirement Village in Hamilton. This is aPart timeposition working Friday and Saturday and 0530 - 1400.

In this role you will:

• Bake and cook a wide selection of cabinet food to delight our residents and guests
• Provide an excellent food and beverage service in the cafe for residents, relatives and visitors
• Work the till, manage stock, and adhere to food safety standards
• Promote a welcoming and caring atmosphere at the village
