Job summary

Ryman Healthcare – Birkenhead, North Island is seeking a Barista at the Bert Sutcliffe Retirement Village in Birkenhead. This is a Permanent Part Time role working 8:30-16:30 on Monday, Thursday and Sunday.

You will provide an excellent café service for residents, relatives, and visitors, with coffee making experience essential. The role emphasizes a welcoming atmosphere, beverage crafting, cleanliness, and teamwork within the village.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista in a busy cafe environment.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills with the ability to multitask with coffee making, serving customers and food service.
• Strong empathy with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• A reliable, friendly and professional manner with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at Bert Sutcliffe Retirement Village in Birkenhead as a Barista. This is a Permanet Part Time position working 8:30- 16:30 Monday, Thursday and Sunday.
