Ryman Healthcare – Havelock North is seeking a Baker with cafe assistant duties for James Wattie Retirement Village in Havelock North. This full-time role runs Sunday to Thursday from 06:00 to 14:00, focusing on cabinet foods and high-quality guest service.

You will bake, serve residents and visitors, manage till and stock, and uphold food safety standards in a welcoming village environment.

Ryman Healthcare – Havelock North, North Island

We have an exciting new position as a Baker with some Cafe Assistant duties involved as well atJames Wattie Retirement Village in Havelock North. This is a Full Time position working Sunday to Thursday 06:00am - 14:00pm.

In this role you will:

  • Bake, cook and create a wide selection of cabinet food to delight our residents and guests
  • Provide an excellent food and beverage service in the cafe for residents, relatives and visitors
  • Work the till, manage stock, and adhere to food safety standards
  • Promote a welcoming and caring atmosphere at the village

About You

To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:

  • Experience in baking and cookery
  • Ability to work independently to the highest standards
  • Strong empathy
  • A reliable, friendly and professional manner
  • Barista experience is an added bonus!
