Job summary

Ryman Healthcare in Wellington is hiring a Barista/Cafe Assistant for Rita Angus Retirement Village in Kilbirnie. This full-time role runs Wednesday to Sunday, 09:00–15:30 (32.5 hours weekly) and starts mid to late September.

You will provide excellent cafe service for residents and visitors, craft beverages, maintain cafe standards, and support coworkers while promoting a warm, caring atmosphere within the village.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista in a busy cafe environment.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills with the ability to multitask with coffee making, serving customers and food service.
• Strong empathy with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• A reliable, friendly and professional manner with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at Rita Angus Retirement Village in Kilbirnie, Wellington as aBarista/Cafe Assistant, in our brand new This is a Full Time role working Wednesday to Sunday 0900-1530 (32.5 hours all up)

This role will commence mid to late September.

In this role you will:

• Provide an excellent food and beverage service in the café for residents, relatives and visitors- Experience making coffee essential
