Job summary

NZ Uniforms and CODE Sports are seeking a driven Business Development Manager based in Albany to grow our presence with schools, sports clubs and communities across the Upper North Island. You’ll prospect, win new opportunities and manage a growing portfolio.

You’ll engage principals, directors and committee members, present customised apparel solutions, and work with internal teams to deliver outstanding service. A practical road-map, strong networking and a passion for sport are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in securing new business and growing accounts.
• Experience selling to schools, clubs or community groups is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Actively prospecting and securing new school and sports club opportunities
• Managing and growing an existing portfolio of customers
• Building strong relationships with Principals, Sports Directors, Business Managers and key stakeholders
• Presenting apparel and uniform solutions professionally and confidently
• Conducting customer visits across the Upper North Island
• Preparing quotes, proposals and presentations
• Managing opportunities through our CRM system
• Working closely with internal teams to deliver seamless customer experiences
• Contributing to sales growth targets across NZ Uniforms and CODE Sports

Business Development Manager - Schools & Sports

NZ Uniforms and CODE Sports are looking for an energetic and driven Business Development Manager to grow our presence across schools and sports organisations throughout the Upper North Island.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves sport, enjoys being on the road meeting people, and has the confidence to engage with decision-makers ranging from Principals and Business Managers through to Sports Directors, Boards and Club Committees.

About the Role

Based in our Albany Support Office, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while managing and growing existing customer relationships across Auckland, Waikato and the wider Upper North Island.

You will work closely with schools, sports clubs and community organisations to provide customised apparel, uniform and teamwear solutions through both the NZ Uniforms and CODE Sports brands.

This role combines the excitement of business development with the discipline of account management, ensuring our customers receive outstanding service and support throughout their journey.

What You'll Be Doing

• Actively prospecting and securing new school and sports club opportunities
