We are seeking an Associate Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of our business, expand our commercial client base and strengthen relationships with existing customers.

About the Role

Working closely with the Business Development Manager and operational teams, you will contribute to the development and implementation of business development, sales and marketing initiatives. The role has a strong focus on identifying new commercial opportunities, developing corporate client relationships and supporting the growth of the company's services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development, sales and marketing initiatives to support company growth.


• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop relationships with prospective commercial clients.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, key accounts and business partners.


• Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities for business growth.


• Prepare business proposals, quotations, presentations and tender submissions.


• Support commercial negotiations, pricing proposals and client contract discussions.


• Plan and coordinate marketing and promotional activities to generate new business and strengthen market presence.


• Work closely with operational teams to ensure client requirements are effectively communicated, service standards are maintained and opportunities for client retention and growth are identified.

Qualifications & Experience

• A relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, economics, marketing, management or a related discipline.


• At least 3 years' relevant experience in business development, sales, marketing, account management or a related commercial role.


• Demonstrated experience in developing new business opportunities and managing corporate client relationships.


• Experience preparing business proposals, quotations, tenders or similar commercial documentation.


• Strong communication, negotiation, organisational and relationship-management skills.


• Experience in the commercial cleaning, facilities management or a related service industry would be advantageous.


• Competence in Microsoft Office, CRM systems and general business applications.

What We Offer

• Competitive salary of $65,000 – $75,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
