Job summary

Canyon Brewing in Queenstown is seeking a Brewery Assistant to help keep the brewery running smoothly. You’ll support packaging, cleaning, stock handling, and deliveries, working across production to ensure quality and timely distribution.

No two days are the same; you’ll assist with kegging, canning, ingredient handling, and maintaining safety and cleanliness. A hands-on attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a brewery, production, or warehouse is a bonus, but not essential.
• A great attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to get stuck in.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Clear communication and a proactive approach to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Kegging, canning, labelling, and preparing beer for distribution.
• Support brewing team with ingredient handling and equipment prep.
• Keep the brewery clean, safe, and well organised including CIP cycles.
• Manage stock rotation and adjust fridges/storage to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Assist with deliveries and maintaining accurate delivery records.
