Job summary

bStudio Ltd in Napier, New Zealand, is seeking a permanent full-time Brewer / Brewery Operator to join our modern, automated brewhouse and pack line. You will become proficient across brewing and cellar operations with on-the-job training and a focus on consistent beer quality.

You will work varied shifts, weekends, and collaborate closely with a small team to meet production targets, maintain hygiene standards, and complete production documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in brewing, beverage or production.

bStudio Ltd is an award-winning service provider to the craft beer and beverage industries, based in Napier. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality service and products to our customers.

We are seeking applications for a permanent full-time Brewer / Brewery Operator.

Our brewhouse and pack line are modern and automated, so we have a small operational team relative to our capacity. We work varying split shifts to ensure our work is completed on schedule and we can always do what is best for the beer.

Key responsibilities.

On the job training is provided. You will be expected to become proficient in all aspects of our brewing and cellar operations and to perform tasks accurately and efficiently. The following are requirements:

• Understanding and upholding strict hygiene and food safety standards.
• Understanding and prioritising beer quality.
• Ensuring customer specifications are met.
• Accurately completing all production documentation.
• Following Standard Operating Procedures.
• Assist as required in any other tasks within the brewery: bStudio is one team.
• Be a responsible team member as regards health and safety.

Relevant brewing, beverage and/or other production experience will be highly regarded: we want someone who can quickly get up to speed with our systems, become a senior pair of eyes on shift to see and prevent problems before they happen, and assist in training and answering questions for junior staff. We need someone with:
