Job summary

Westpac New Zealand is seeking a Bank Manager to lead the Central Lakes branch network from Wanaka to Queenstown and Alexandra, guiding staff to deliver outstanding customer outcomes across personal, business and wealth banking.

You will report to the Regional Manager, drive branch performance, coach a team of Banking Advisers and Customer Service Representatives, and enhance relationships with customers, partners, and the wider community.

Qualifications

• Proven recent experience as a successful leader.
• Highly developed interpersonal, networking, and communication skills.
• Expert knowledge of the financial services industry.
• Demonstrated experience in leading change.
• A strong commitment to coaching and developing others.
• A solid understanding of the local area (desired).
• A tertiary qualification in Business (preferred).
• FA qualification (desired).
