Job summary

Halter is seeking a Territory Manager to drive growth in the Northern Mid Canterbury region. You will lead end‑to‑end sales, build lasting farmer relationships, and work with Product, Support and regional teams to ensure customer success.

This role requires a proactive, hands-on approach, frequent travel within the territory, and a passion for transforming grazing with Halter's technology.

Qualifications

• Sales & customer success experience with a track record of creating opportunities, closing deals and nurturing relationships.
• Beef industry experience or strong willingness to learn about beef operations.
• Proactive attitude, high performance focus, and ability to work under pressure.
• Territory management skills with ability to balance sales and customer success across a large area.
• Strong problem solving and collaboration skills; able to work with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and expand by sourcing new leads, referrals, events, and inbound inquiries.
• Hit sales targets through pipeline management, product demos, and contract negotiation.
• Account management post-sale to ensure customer success and adoption of Halter's solutions.
• Own territory relationships with beef industry groups and key stakeholders.
• Facilitate smooth onboarding and deployment of Halter in new accounts.
• Capture field insights and feedback to support product improvements.
