Star Group in Auckland is hiring 5 Bar Managers to lead our busy venues and work flexible hours across a 7-day roster. You will supervise the bar team, drive excellent customer service, and ensure stock control and POS accuracy while upholding safety standards.

The role requires at least two years’ experience, with the ability to coach staff, manage COGS, staffing levels and sales targets, and to inspire return guests in a dynamic environment.

Right now, we’re on the hunt to fill 5 Bar Manager vacancies in our Auckland network, and we’re looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment, with at least two years' experience in a similar role.

You’re comfortable working flexible hours across a 7-day roster, including weekends. Your day-to-day will include serving and leading the bar team, managing customer interactions, upholding high standards of health and safety, maintaining strong product knowledge, and ensuring stock and purchasing systems are followed. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring accurate POS use, maintaining clean service areas, opening and closing the venue unsupervised, and supporting team development. You’ll help drive business success through managing COGs, staffing levels, and sales targets, and by leading with a focus on return guest experiences and staff motivation.

This role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $30.00 to $33.00 an hour for a minimum of 30 hours per week, and it’s a great opportunity to step up in your hospitality career with a company that values connection, fun, and community.
