Job summary

Kiwibank is hiring for a Relationship Customer Onboarding role designed for recent graduates. You will work with Commercial and Corporate Business customers during their onboarding journey, handling calls, gathering information, and ensuring AML-CDD and Foreign Tax compliance.

Based in Auckland, Christchurch, or Hamilton with hybrid arrangements, you will collaborate with frontline teams and the Customer Verification team to streamline onboarding, set up online banking, and support continuous

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or pursuing a career in financial services and banking.
• Proven ability in resolving complex customer situations.
• Confidence in handling outbound calls and emails and building strong customer relationships.
• Knowledge of customer due diligence checks, AML and Foreign Tax compliance requirements.
• Strong process adherence, documentation, and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated skill in using digital tools and learning new technologies.
• An interest in contributing to process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of inbound and outbound calls.
• Complete customer due diligence checks with a focus on AML and Foreign Tax compliance.
• Collaborate with frontline teams and the Customer Verification team to meet compliance requirements.
• Work with existing customers to strengthen their AML-CDD and Foreign Tax details and compliance.
• Use standard processes and digital tools to simplify the onboarding experience.
• Set up online banking, customer accounts, and profiles in our systems.
• Support process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
